COMPASS REGISTRATION: Registration for the COMPASS Test is held at the University Testing Center, located in the basement of the College of Education Building, Room 7. Registration must be completed on later than two business days prior to the test date. Each examinee must first pay the examination fee at the Testing Center then, an admission ticket will then be issued to each candidate to assure you a seat for the COMPASS Examination. This will complete your registration. It recommended that you register as soon as possible before your intended test date is full and closed for registration. The fee is nonrefundable and nontransferable.Registration on line is available at our web site but you are still required to report to the University Testing Center before your test date to receive your admission card.
FEE: The total cost for the test is $60.00 payable to Texas Southern University at the time of registration by check, money order, or credit card. Cash payment is acceptable only at the Bursar Office located in the Basement of the Bell Building.
IDENTIFICATION: At the test site, two forms of identification will be required with one showing a picture, such as a driver's license, passport, or an alien registration card.
TIME DURATION: The COMPASS Test is a three hour examination and you are allowed to leave if you finish before the end of the time period.
RESCHEDULING: If you are unable to keep a scheduled appointment and wish to reschedule, you must return to the Testing Center with your admission ticket before your test date to set another date for your examination.

TEST RESULTS: Test results will be available for the examinee at the TSU General University Academic Center/GUAC Office located in the Fairchild building. More information can be obtained at www.act.org/compass/
