Orientation Seminar
The purpose of orientation is to provide new students with a smooth and helpful transition to college life. Orientation is required of all first-time freshman and new transfer students new to Texas Southern University. All first time students at TSU will be assessed a $30.00 orientation fee.

Mandatory Vaccination
Beginning January 1, 2012 , all first time students, younger than 30 years of age, regardless of class status or where you will reside, will be required to have the meningitis vaccination or an approved exemption prior to attending the university. To be compliant with the new law, the student must have received the vaccination within the past 5 years. For more information, please click here.
